Q. Some brief introduction about Motherland Secondary School?

Dilliram Bhattarai: Motherland Secondary School was initially established at 2051 B.S. for the primary level english education in Pokhara. We further upgraded the school at 2056 B.S. for the secondary education. Presently, it is providing the education for more than 1600 students of different levels. And, the students have not limited only from Pokhara but also the eastern and western region of Nepal such as Baglung, Parbat, Myagdi, Bake, Bardia, Chitwan etc. This school has provided the working opportunities for more than 126 staffs both teaching and non-teaching. We are providing the different kind of scholarship scheme so that we could give the education for any level of students. Other facilities like hostel, transportation, and canteen are provided for the ease of students.

Q. What kind of scholarship programs have you provided for the students?

Prem Narayan Pokharel: We have categorized the scholarship program in different categories as:

Q. What do you think about the online education in School?

Dilliram Bhattarai: Obviously, it is time to explore the world even from a single place. We should be able to provide the online education for our students from the lower level. So that, we have facilitated free internet service in school for the students above IV grade.


Q. Do you think an IV grade student will be capable for the online education?

Prem Narayan Pokharel: It depends on the teaching methodology. We prepare our students for the online education by different methodologies which are easier to learn the students. And, we are getting the good result till now.


Q. How quality education can be provided for the students?

Dilliram Bhattarai: Talking about the quality education which we are providing to our students, we use the different techniques of teaching and learning. They are:
